Let’s just say I don’t like the snow. Know this doesn’t mean I don’t like playing, building snowmen/women, or throwing snowballs at my puppy. I have always seen the snow as one of God’s many wonderful, meaningful things.
Animals have always been my interest that I would like to be involved with one day when I grow up. One night I was up late watching Animal Planet on TV. They were talking about Siberian tigers (that why I chose this picture). One thing that really got my attention was the mother teaching her children how to hunt and pretty much live their life as a adult. Later in the show, the Siberian tiger mother would let her oldest child, Camellia, one of 3, go live her own life. I soon thought after the series ended how alike that was to us and God. I’m not saying that God will just leave us one day, because He won’t. But God in his own way does things to show that He loves us. Even if those things are making it through a terrible accident or even surgery, He is there. God knows when there are some battles that we just need to fight alone, even if He shows that He is there. I think that we can learn trust and love in Him from this.
Today’s Bible Verse:
“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations” Deuteronomy 7:9
