Is God like a dishwasher?

I was unloading the dishwasher one night, as that is one of my chores.  Then for some reason, the next day my parents and I went to Menards. While we were walking through the appliance aisle, something caught my eye: A see-through dishwasher.  Say What!!!!!

So that means that I can watch all the old chili get washed away by soap and warm water?!!?  I told my parents it would be cool to have but it was almost $3,000!!!!  In my head, I just said “Nope” knowing that it would never happen.

That night as I was washing some of the dishes that were plastic and could not go into the dishwasher. I watched as the soap and warm water washed down the drain. I started thinking what it would feel like to be a piece of dishware, always have steaming hot water and tide pods being washed off.  Maybe it would seem like watching the human being living near the shelf that I am set on open the door and pick me up, soon knowing that a knife and fork will cut food above me but feeling the grinding noise of glass underneath me.

I also thought, “If God was a dishwasher, what kinda of pottery plates and glass bowls would He wash?”  As soon then I thought “That was a weird question.”  After trying to move on thinking of a new topic, it kept coming back to me.  A thought came into my head, God and  a dishwasher are some what alike.  Dishwashers clean old spaghetti off of a plate and God washes away our sins.  Ever thought of that before? I bet you haven’t until now.

Today’s Verse:  “Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity And cleanse me from my sin.” Psalm 51:2

Have a great day/evening and keep on walking with the Lord God almighty 🙂 pexels-photo-213162.jpegbath-splashing-ducks-joy-160992.jpegpexels-photo-545013.jpeg
